April 21, 2016 was a sad day in Minnesota. Actually let me take that back, it was a sad day around the entire world. I can't believe it's been over a year already since Prince passed away. He was not only a great musician but also a fashion icon to me.
I love seeing all of the paintings, murals, and dedications around the city. I remember the day he passed, people from all over flew/drove to Minneapolis and waited in the longest line I've ever seen at First Ave. Not to mourn his death, but to celebrate his life, as he would have wanted. The lights, sky, and entire city was purple. It was incredible.
R.I.P Prince! May your soul dance and sing songs of joy in heaven.
Prince would have wanted me to slay in purple... so today, I'm slayingggg in nothing but shades of purple babyyy. lol
