Getting Back To 'ME'
Wear this, wear that. Do this, do that!
I can't tell you how annoying it is when everybody thinks their opinion is golden and you better take their advice "or else". Now I am extremely accepting of helpful criticism. However, the way you deliver that criticism is extremely important. I can be really sensitive when it comes to things I am passionate about and the last thing I want to hear is negativity from anyone while I am in the process of exploring myself and trying new things.
I started this blog to share not only my outfits, but my thoughts and feelings as well. I've never been good at self expression through conversing, so writing helps me express everything that is in my crazy fast paced mind.
Somewhere in the midst of everything, I stopped writing how I felt. My posts turned into only discussing what I am wearing and leaving it at that. I'm not sure if it was because I didn't want people to take my feelings and thoughts wrong, or if I just have been shielding them from myself. I do have the tendency to ignore my feelings and find something else to keep my mind busy. That's never a good idea... it's backfired numerous of times. It's something I am working on.
Anyways, with all of that being said, I'm going to get back to writing on here more. I am going to write about things 'I' want to write about and post things 'I' want to post! If someone doesn't like what I have to say or if my style isn't of their liking, that is perfectly okay. After all, the #1 reason why I started this blog is for myself.
I just want to thank everyone who follows my blog and have been supporting from the beginning! There have been so many times that I've wanted to delete my blog and quit everything. The support keeps me going.
